How to use customer feedback and add value to your business Listening to Our Visitors is a Scottish Enterprise initiative developed to encourage tourism businesses to capture and utilise customer feedback more effectively in order to help stimulate innovation and colloaboration leading to new/improved products and services. After a highly successful first run the next phase of Listening to Our Visitors workshops have been finalised and tourism businesses are encouraged to book asap as places are limited.

One-to-one Business Advice Through the Experiencing Scotland project, Scottish Enterprise can offer eligible tourism businesses and event organisers one-to-one business advice supplied by the Merritt-Harrison Catering Consultancy. This is available at nominal cost and includes: an induction to business tools and support networks; purchasing, marketing, staff skills and financial performance; a bespoke business action plan; referrals to suppliers; and additional telephone support as required. Businesses eligible for support include: - Visitor attractions with over 250,000 visitors annually
- Hotel groups operating across Scotland
- Conference venues
- Sporting venues involved in international events
- National carriers
- Events attracting UK & international visitors

Golf Tourism Seminars available now...
Scottish Enterprise (in conjunction with Golf Tourism Scotland, VisitScotland, The Scottish Golf Union, Scottish Development International and Tourism Intelligence Scotland) has confirmed an exciting programme of Golf Tourism Seminars to be held this February. The theme for the seminars is to offer golf tourism businesses the opportunity to access, share and understand a range of useful insights and provide a raft of practical hints and tips on how to use market intelligence to get ahead, stay competitive and prosper as well as answer the elusive 'so what' question - what does it mean for my business? As well as three key-note presentations, the seminars will also include Q&A sessions, creative innovation workshops and networking buffet lunches.

Tourism Innovation Fund - this round closing 29 April 2011 The Tourism Innovation Fund (TIF) provides matched funding of up to £30,000 and professional one-to-one advice to help develop and commercialise the very best innovative tourism ideas. This Round closes on Friday 29 April 2011 with Round 8 due to close on 30 September 2011.
